Gary Gruver / TheGruVe has been in the music industry for over 25-yrs. He started his career in entertainment in 1990 working for two of the biggest DJ companies (at the time) in St. Louis, Rent-A-Jock & Golden Sounds Unlimited. 


      In 1996 he opened In-Effect DJ’s. Over the next several years he grew his business, then known as In-Effect Productions. With several DJ’s working within the company. He has personally performed 100’s of events throughout St. Louis and parts of Illinois and is still performing to this day. 


      In-Effect Productions also expanded into Bar & Nightclub installs of pro sound and lighting systems. In 1998 Gary started pro mixing in several well-known nightclubs in the St. Louis area. He has performed & worked on some of the hottest Bars & Nightclubs in St. Louis. Club-X / Patty O’s / The Cheetah Super Club / The Living Room / Club Savanna & Mandarin Bay. After a residency of nearly 3-years at the Cheetah Super Club @ 1224 Washington Ave.. In which In-Effect Productions provided the sound and lighting on two of the three level nightclub. This type of experience will add in the confidence that your sound and lighting will be done right & in the mixing of your music selections!


       In 2003 he was accepted into Top-Jox based in the United Kingdom – (specializing) in promoting some of the best pro DJ’s around the world. At the time he was one of only a hand full of USA DJ’s on their roster. 


     In 2005 he signed with Acossi Records based in New York City. DJ stage name TheGruVe, you can still view some of his remixes online at: (name of album Acossi Movement Vol. 1 / 2010 version @ Beat Port/Amazon/I-Tunes).
